About Strata Flint
From DuChateau's Strata collection, Strata Flint pairs European oak with 7-1/2″ (190 mm) wide planks and a 4 mm wear layer.
The 4 mm top layer is thick enough to be sanded and refinished in the future, while the engineered core keeps the plank stable through Valley heat and dry AC air.
It is finished with a light wire brush, random saw marks surface, Hard-Wax Oil. Wire-brushing opens the grain and helps hide everyday scuffs from kids and pets.
Grade: Character, which sets how much natural character, knots and color variation you will see from board to board.
DuChateau approves it for glue-down, nail/staple, floating installation; radiant heat approved (see installation instructions).
Strata Flint comes in lengths listed as 74-13/16″ (1900 mm), which gives a calm, continuous look across open rooms.
Packaging: 23.315 SQ.FT. We order with a cut-waste allowance so you do not run short on install day.
